Create in an inspiring village and location
Here we explore the ties that bind us to places, whatever they may be, how they inspire and transform us. Since January 2024, we’ve been providing the spaces for these sensitive questionings and creations to take place, involving and challenging our ways of attaching ourselves to real or imagined places. Artists, authors and researchers have shared their feelings with local and wider audiences in workshops, visual and performing arts presentations. Would you like to spend some creative time with us in our rural residency, or present your work to the public in the form of an exhibition, readings, workshops or performances? 🥚
The Katz& Co collective
Katz pour K atzenthal et Co – because when you’re with others, you go further! This collective has come together to explore the links between place and place, a question that runs through the lives and thoughts of the group’s members. Artists, researchers, authors, residents, all volunteers for a vintage or longer.
The collective is open to all interested parties. It examines and validates applications, accompanies the residencies and puts its network of contacts at the host’s disposal. The residency program is drawn up a year in advance. Katz&Co hosts 2 to 4 residencies a year, and 3 to 4 events.
The following can be made available
- Furnished and equipped accommodation (studio for 1 person)
- A workshop
- A space for presentations, exhibitions, readings, vernissage
- A meeting place for mediation and writing workshops.
- Our local and regional connections: public, institutional, cultural networks, schools, associations, press, etc.
