Organic Wines at Klur wine estate

Klur winery The Klur vineyards originated from a long family tradition but have been dedicated to organic production since 1999. Today, we have 7 hectares of vines in 20 parcels located in Katzenthal mostly on granite soil, but also on clay-limestone soils. The Klur wines are considered to be characteristic, very personal, bearing the stamp of a certain type of Alsatian wine; clean, yet elegant, dry and fruity. Why is Klur organic ? It began with a vision and we have converted our way of life completely, although we were already practicing the planting of cover crops, composting, working the soil, before we converted. Following other experiments, exchanges, training, notably in Biodynamics, there was no turning back for us and we launched our organic viticulture at the turning point of the millenium…in 1999.

Today we are happy about this choice and we also think that « Everything in this world is so connected by an immortal power either from near or afar that you cannot pick a flower without disturbing a star. »

Our wine range : at Klur you will find all white wine of Alsace but also pinot noir and sparkling crémant. Two specials : Gentil de Katz and Voyou de Katz will surprise you
